MP3 Conversion
#1
Hiya!
This is not "Mal" btw, it's his daughter!
I've recently downloaded some songs from the net.
But, they're not in MP3 format, so i can't convert them into "WAV", using Music Match, in order to put them onto a disk!
The file name things after them are:
.zip
.ppt
.class
.ps
.bin
can anyone tell me how to put them into an MP3 format, so i can put it onto a disk?
thanx, luv sam
p.s. i know very little about computers, so if you could put it in Laymans terms, i would appreciate it!

I would imagine that they are mp3 files that have been renamed (usual trick to avoid telling off from ISP). Just rename the .xxx extension (or whatever is after the dot) to .mp3 and you should be away.
Then you can use something like Nero or Discjuggler to burn the mp3s straight to CDR.
