missus wants to know how you change the automatic word using SMS on a Nokia 6310. ie she wants the word to be them but it's come up with then

Also how do you switch off this autoword feature?

turn off T9. i think press the * or # when in sms.

Yeah keep pressing * until it cycles the word or # until you see "abc" without an underline in the top left. Of course she could just read the manual

Press and hold Options, after coming up send on the menu initially it toggles T9 after a couple of seconds.
