Ive got a 'evaluation' copy of checkpoint fw1 and the licence key it 'generates' is in the form xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx
execpt it should be xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx
do i need a different hot fix??

If you go onto Checkpoints support page (usercenter.checkpoint.com) it will allow you to get an eval key (once you've registered....). You can have 2 eval keys for each eval disc. Remember to register the eval against the external interface IP address....otherwise things can get a little wierd !

You may have appear to have an old 'evaluation key generator'. Depending on what version and service pack, those clever guys at 'Damn' have created versions - not that I condone that sort of software.
If its NG - best of luck for licenses.... nothing around at the moment except for pukka ones.
