XP Drive Letter Re-Assignment

new laptop with xp
drive c 40gig
partitioned
now have
c 10gig
d 10 gig
e cd/dvd
f 20 gig
how do i re-assign the cd/dvd to Z or something like that, know how to do it on w98 base but cannot find on XP
