Get a plank of wood for the keyboard and mouse to rest on your knees

Else, you can get trackpads like the ones in laptops, trackballs or a graphics tablet....

there are some keyboards available with a touchpad built in, or alternatively, buy a cordless optical mouse and use it on your knee..

Paul,

As said above, there are full size keyboards with built in pointing devices. I like to use one of the Dell keyboards that are meant to be fitted in 19inch racks. Full(ish) keyboard with a rollerball.

Cheers

Ian

Yeah I use a rack-mount Compaq keyboard at home with a built in track ball.
