ok, im dumping NTL cable for obvious reasons...like NTL are involved!

is there any difference (in service and back up) between pipex and BT adsl...seems BT is a bit more expensive (£30pm V £25) any thing else?

Why not go for Telewest and get a 1 Megabit line for £35.

Tiggs, Most ADSL providers are struggling to meet the deamnd just at the moment. This is likely to get worse before it gets better. Its a lottery - you might have problems, you might not...you decide.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey a "Pipex" post!!!

Well at last I got my problem sorted out. I must be honest and take a bit of the blame.... and the lady who dealt with the complaint did do a good job.

But at times it runs very slow. I never want to try and call.... ( But i do have an "Internal" number!!! but they could get miffed if I abuse it... ( They answer within a min or two!!)

I still cannot believe all the problems people are having with them..Dont even bother sending them a email......... it wont get answered.

But I'm going to stick with them for a bit... Save all the agro of changing...

Suba.. no worries about the reccomondation!!

www.eclipse.net.uk

£22.75 pcm, £50 set up fee, one month rolling contract, small enough that I've always got through to a real person in less than 2 mins, top speed link, router does seem to drop out for a few minutes every 4-5 days tho', but its never caused a problem.

Just a satisfied customer etc etc
