V Rally 3
I remember playing V-Rally 1 on my Playstation1 many moons ago - at the time it was the finest rally game I'd ever played and I was totally glued to it until I finished it.
I was totally disappointed with VRALLY2 and haven't even bothered looking at VRALLY3 - will do now you mention it though.

It's much less 'arcadey' than v rally 1 & 2, much more a proper rally 'experience'.
You have to work your way through the 1.6 classes to get picked to join a proper wrc team and drive for the big boys.
The scenery is fantastic, cars handle well, bit more of a 'weighty' feeling than wrc. Damage is excellent. If you can overlook a few 'issues' it's a great game...

On a similar note I saw a video of Colin Macrae3 running the other day and I have to say the weather effects are fantastic. For the first time the car really looks as though its flinging itself through wind and rain and snow - even the wipers 'smear' the snow and rain off the windscreen.
Looking forward to it.

I got it today and after a few runs and many adjustments I have to say its a very likeable game, the actual driving of the car seems far more involved than WRC , graffix very tidy and lots to look at, I feel an addiction coming on, well until CM3
