I'm not a big gamer but I do love a bit of Mario, fantastic that Nintendo have started writing native apps. I remember being laughed at here for predicting the impact of the iPhone on gaming, it was obvious to most.
i think the gist of the thread is the notion/gloating that apple (iPhone) can steal away Gameboy market !
That happened in 2008 when the App Store came out, you could see the potential via Jailbreak in 2007. I'm not sure if Nintendo are geniuses or not by waiting so long.
The game is designed to be as simple as possible with the ability to play with one hand. Nintendo are very good at it. Saying all you can do is jump shows ignorance, you can do much more, if you'd said it's all one button then that's true and as designed.
dont know if thats tongune un cheek, but with sonic you can uses propper controls,
left/right/up/down, spin and jump
Nope genuine comment, if you want to get your fix of retro gaming on a tablet then Sonic is the way to go. Either that or most of the more recent Grand Theft Auto games are available these days.
