I found rally-cross OK, but only after a good few attempts.
Steering wheel/pedals would probably make it a whole lot easier.

I played demo of that on PS4, didn't rate it very highly. Problem is, after playing Dirt Rally (on PC, not tried it on PS4), all the others are a bit cr@p!

I can't see WRC6 being any better than the previous incarnations.

update: My God this game is difficult, even with the aids turned on and the difficulty set to easy, it is completely nails. Anyone else experienced this or am I just that terrible?

One thing of note I am not using a wheel. (thanks Sony for making sure my Logitech was not compatible with the new console)

Is this Loeb or Dirt? I didn't find Loeb difficult, then then again I was using a wheel (Logitech G29)

I must just be rubbish

I Assume you are playing Dirt Rally rather than just Dirt 3 as my next comment was going to be after Dirt 2 it got way too 'Ken Block Gymkhana bro' for me but Dirt Rally looks really good, i had no idea that they had released it for PS4

Yeah, Dirt Rally for PC, was released as early access on Steam, for peanuts, and they just kept adding cars and tracks until they released a retail version in the spring of this year, and it also became available on PS4 and Xbox One.

It is without doubt the finest rally game I have ever played.

I believe that Codemasters have developed a new engine, that is a huge improvement on the Dirt engine (which was pretty special!) and are working on a new game. Sadly that means no more content for Dirt

I might have to have a look at this then as reviews suggest you can still play it with a controller as i am not in a position to get a wheel at the moment.

A friend of mine has it on Xbox One, and said it was terrible with a controller, until he found a thread on a forum where some guy suggested changing one of the settings to do with steering linearity (I think) and then he said it was very good, even with a controller.

Thanks for the heads up, interestingly one of the reviews mentioned changing the steering linearity and sensitivity.

NP. The other alternative is just get a G29, it's a great wheel. I have the gear shifter for it too, makes it much more fun on the historics. Trying to wrestle the Lancia 037 in the wet, whilst shifting properly, concentrates the mind

I have Dirt Rally on PS4 instead of XBOX One as it looks nicer on the PS4. Still very hard. I purchased both the Loeb rally and the other rally game on XBOX One and wasn't overly impressed with either of them really.

Dirt Rally is excellent, while highly frustrating at times!

But at the moment I am well into Forza Horizon 3. Now that is a good game, a bit glitchy at the moment as its only a week after release, but so far its proven to be a very good game.
