Default Bought my first DSLR

I've wanted one for ages and finally bit the bullet!

Canon 760D (body only) which is a mid-level/very top end beginner DSLR and a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART lens (56mm equivalent on a crop sensor body). The camera turned up today but I'm still waiting on the lens. Hopefully it'll come tomorrow! I've had a little tinker in the menu's but there's only so much you can do without a lens attached.

I've read a stupid amount of reviews, forums, youtube videos etc in deciding what I wanted and I'm prepared to learn to use the camera properly in manual mode, otherwise what's the point in getting one in the first place? It looks relatively straight forward to use in aperture priority mode anyway.

I'm looking forward to shooting with it though of course.

Best buy I made for my Nikon D300 was a twin DVD about "How to...". Cost me £11, well worth it.

I'm over the moon with this. These are my first few shots with it on manual mode.
