Hi all
Thinking of getting a chromecast, have a samsung smart tv which is a couple of years old 3 usb,3 hdmi. Will i need to power the chrome cast or will the usb be able to power it. TV is on the wall and have no more room for another power socket so just need to know if it will be poweded stright from usb. just casting from ipad pro

I went with the Roku 3 stick. I got 2, one is powered from tv usb socket. The other tv didn't have usb so powered from supplied power adaptor
