I can't decide, leaning towards xbox as i already had one, but i'm not sure if thats the right choice?

 

Xbox one for me

 

I have both and they are both quality consoles in their own right,but if I had to choose one it would be the PS4.SJ.

 

I went for the ps4 because it seems more reliable, a few of my friends are on there 2nd xboxs and they go through controllers a lot, maybe There just heavy handed I don't know.

Or the ps4 is better made

 

hmmm. This doesn't sound easy, i've only played on xbox one, my mates getting PS4 this week with fifa, so i can try out his. Any further info will help.

I had both but sold the xb1 PS4 is the better machine, project cars was better on the PS4 & most non exclusive games look & run better although I am thinking about getting another xb1 now Forza 6 is out.......

 

PS4 all day for me. I think the look and feel of the xbox menus are better than the ps4, but the ps4 has better performance and much better games coming out.

 

Thats the problem, its kind of a split. One mate has xbox one other PS4 other mates don't go on same games i do, so doesn't really matter. On the xbox one can you pause the game and go on other things like web etc as you can on playstaion 3?

Another thing to factor in is that the xbox comes with the camera out of the box. You don't get a camera with the PS4 unless you buy it separately. Although there aren't really that many things that properly utilize the camera yet on PS4...so its no biggy yet.

 

When you say camera you mean kinect?

 

I thought you could buy XB1 without Kinect now as loads of people complained (amongst other things) that they were being charged for something they didn't want or need?

PS4 the superior bit of kit, but whether the technical superiority translates into anything more than fodder for the fanboys as opposed to meaningful differences between the same titles on the two consoles is yet to become clear!

For the moment, get the one your mates have if you play on-line or the one with the exclusives you prefer if you don't!

 

You can buy without Kinect. I would never buy Kinect as its to intrusive. If you look at xbox setting Kinect can record audio when ever it likes and you have to selection option that xbox can't use the back ground noise.

Its all to intrusive for my liking.

 

1 of the things I considered was that you need to pay for Xbox live, but Playstation network is free and so went with the PS4. My son has the XB1 and having played the same games on both consoles I feel the PS4 is the better choice.

Is yhe backward compatibility on the ps4 out yet?

 

If that had of been the case I would of gone for ps4 straight away.

 

Asda were selling off Xbox One's and PS4's for £200 today, limited to certain stores.

 

That's a bargain, I think it's the earlier model with the slightly louder fan noise.

 

Now I've heard playstation have reduced there prices in Japan I might hold off, as prices might come down here next.
