Question

I have searched fruitlessly for an ADSL extension cable to the one BT supplied (which is ridiculously short).

Anyone know where I can get one?

BTW, I'm a cabling ignoramus so no cabling technical jargon please

Cool

Thanks for replies guys

However, a look on the Maplin site (and a search) didn't reveal anything that meant anything to me. They do seem to have RJ45 adapters, but not cable.

Not to worry, I'll visit my local-to-work PC World tomorrow - quicker than ordering through the net anyway

If you are trying to extend from the ADSL filter that BT supply you need an RJ11 lead not RJ45 or you can just run a normal telephone extension lead then plug the filter into that.

If it's the same as the replacement socket supplied by BT it will take RJ11 or RJ45
