iPhone help.... Phone broken, need contacts.....
Greetings all.
I've a small dilemma which to be honest I'm a little pissed about
My home button on my iPhone was temperamental, so I bought a replacement button, YouTube guided the phone apart (1 hour) then installed the switch and put the phone back together (another hour). However during replacement I have damaged one of the wires to the digitaliser (screen) so the phone, albeit looks ok, does not have any touch sensitivity, so I can't access it.
My question is how can I get my contacts off the phone, or off the iTunes back up? I won't be getting another iPhone I don't think, so backing up on a new phone isn't likely.
I have considered buying the digitaliser, but I can't be bothered with another two hours work
Cheers
Rob

Try syncing it with your PC, including contacts of course. Not sure if you can do that without the passcode so you might be screwed.
I used this software years ago for something, might work http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/

Cheers for all the replies everyone.
My backup was always iTunes, but I could do anything with the files that were created. Anyhow as luck would have it the iCloud had actually made a backup off all my contacts inc recent which is lucky. So I've now synced the contacts with my home outlook, and the emailed them to my phone which then installed them all
Very pleased, now I just need a cheap phone to put the other sim back on and create a transfer of all calls from one phone to the other (I need two numbers).
