Impreza GDB GDF 6 Speed Twin Plate Exedy Clutch Kit
Hi guys,
We've had this sat in the workshop unused for a short while now so thought we'd give someone else the chance of using it!
This is a used clutch kit that had light use before being removed.
* Both clutch plates are currently 3.9mm thick. (Standard these are 4mm thick so plenty of life left)
* Light marks on the pressure faces as can be seen in the pictures.
* Exedy kit part number: FM022SD
The Exedy Hyper Series is ideal for motorsport use incorporating friction material with high heat resistance properties and high strength fibers making the Hyper Series an ideal clutch for street, circuit or drifting.
From high power tuned drag race to street usage, the Exedy multi-plate is capable of handling a variety of motorsport applications.
Center Plate Self-Levelling Function
The amount of centre plate travel during release is always maintained in a neutral position by the reaction force of the lifting plate attached to both sides of the centre plate.
Pull Type Clutch Cushioning Function
The "cushion" function is a new innovation unique to Exedy. The half engaged "zone" is expanded as a result of a decrease in rigidity of the pivot ring. Ideal pedal effort is achieved as a result of a longer lever ratio of the diaphragm spring coupled with the cushion reaction force.
