Is this a straightforward swap for the old coil packs? Is anything else needed?

First dibs on this just awaiting answer to above question

its not a straight swop all you need to do is do away with your igniter and reconnect the wires.http://www.jamessimpson.co.uk/classi...ack-conversion
this should help

Classic owners are well advised to buy these as I found out yesterday when having my mates car mapped by Bob Rawle. The car was fine up to 0.7 bar ,but as soon as we tried for 1.0 bar they misfired like crazy -down to the std coilpacks not being able to take the load. Brand new classic coil packs are £99.00 + vat each,so well worth buying as the newage ones are more robust .
