Hi sorry for being thick but could you tell me what the timing belt guide is/does? Is it a straight replacement for an existing part? I am thinking of having my timing belt changed soon so will I need one of these, is it a wear item? I've never heard of it. Looks nice anyway.

*edit: also does it fit the 2l engine?

 

Yes, also fit's 2ltr engine.

Similar to the Cosworth Timing Belt Guide:

"The original sheet metal timing belt guide can flex from belt deflection when subjected to extreme
rpms causing the timing belt to skip one or more teeth on the crankshaft sprocket. The Cosworth Billet Timing Belt Guide was developed to control this problem and is machined from solid aluminum ."

 

Interested in the short shift for later 5 speeds how easy are they to fit ? Do they come with a kit ? Also does the original gear stick gator fit the new gear **** ?

Could you pm me your best price for the CDF rear drop links. Its for an MY05 widetrack sti. (are these just the same as the front droplinks from your normal non wide track kit or are they a different design for the rear of a wide track sti?)
