Nice one Ed.
Couple of other questions - how much are rotor replacements, and are the parts interchangeable with the K-Sport items? I've heard D2 and K-Sport are pretty much the same kit just badged differently?

Replacement Rotors are available but these are on an order only basis. D2 and K-Sport are manufactured by the same manufacturer and as far as I am aware the parts are interchangeable.

Thanks - last question - do you offer alternative pads, and if not, what make are the pads and what sort of grade are they?

The come with D2 Sport pads which we currently use on our drift cars and have had no issues with.

You are able to use other pads such as the Ferrodo DS2500 in them as they are a standard AP fitment.

I have heard that the D2 kits don't have dust seals on the pistons - can you confirm that this is the case, cheers

This is true but they are so well machined that we've never had any reported problems of sticking pistons due to dust contamination.

Thats fair enough Ed i didnt mean nothing by it....I meant with 2 big brake kits available in two different group buys anyone looking to purchase will opt for the set which is £100 cheaper....especially as they are basically the same brakes.

Hi Ed, do you still have these in stock, I'm looking for 356mm 100pcd fitment, can you supply alternative pads instead of the d2 pads such as PF?

Thanks
Iain

As far as I was aware, D2 and KSport are exactly the same just with different name/logo's...

There's another company called XYZ that also use the same gear and then just stamp their own logo on it

Just looking at these and thought I'd correct something.

The K Sports are £100 cheaper but they don't include pads so even if you buy the standard k sport pads it'll be £699 + £79.99 + £20 (delivery) which is £798.99 or the better looking D2's at £809.50 delivered including pads.

If Ed could throw in FREE shipping it would make these even more desirable and only 1p more expensive than the K-Sports.

How are these better looking when they are the same as k-sports except for the name?

Shed any light?

Also do these rotors have curved inner vanes or straight?

Thanks
Si

Hi Si,

The D2 kits use curved inner vanes.

We think they are better looking...isn't the name enough? The truth is, guys these kits look amazing and come highly recommended for the ultimate in stopping power
