Default Polished Bliss®: Aston Martin V8 Vantage...

A slightly shorter one than normal but I figured it would be a nice one to post anyways, it was actually previously owned by Fulham Striker Bobby Zamora (bit of useless info for any football fans!)

This one is on a Maintenance Plan with us and was in for a 1 day Protection Detail, it arrived with a light covering of grime from the winter roads:

Wheels up first, after a pre rinse they were sprayed with R222 Wheel Cleaner and then agitated with a Swissvax Wheel Brush and Wheel Woolies:

Then rinsed:

Tardis for removing any tar spots:

Iron-x was then the last product to be applied to the wheels:

Agitating again with a Wheel Woolie:

Then after a rinse off - squeaky clean

Tyres and arches were then cleaned with Meguiars Super Degreaser...

...Before moving onto the engine bay with Meguiars APC:

Meguiars Hyper Wash was then applied through the foam lance at 60 degrees and then thoroughly rinsed off after a few minutes:

Meguiars APC again being used to clean up all the exterior trim, door shuts etc:

After another rinse the car was washed with a Lambswool mitt, 2 bucket method and Meguiars Shampoo Plus...

...Rinsed again...

Tardis applied to the paint and glass and then wiped off with a MF towel:

Some Iron filings were visible on the paintwork so Iron-X was used again to help remove these, you can just see the deposits on the number plate in this picture:

This was also wiped over with a MF towel:

After another thorough rinse with hot water the car was brought inside and clayed with Meguiars Mild Detailing Clay:

Next to no contamination left though after the Tardis and Iron-X stages:

After drying with PB drying towels and the Black Baron the paintwork was prepped with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid:

Swissvax Crystal Rock was then applied and buffed off after approx 10/15 minutes:

The owner then asked if he could pick the car up 2 days later so another coat of wax was added the next day

Tailpipes were polished up with Swissvax Metal Polish:

Tyres dressed with Swissvax Pneu:

Wheels protected with Swissvax Autobahn:

The interior was hoovered and dusted down, APC was used to remove any grubby marks, leather cleaned with Swissvax Leather Cleaner, Glass cleaned with Swissvax Crystal (exterior glass polished and protected with Werkstat Prime Strong), shuts waxed with Crystal Rock and seals and rubbers conditioned with Swissvax Seal feed.

Engine bay dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant:

A final wipe down with Swissvax Quick finish left us with the following:

And here's a couple of before and afters of a new Audi S3 Black Edition that's also on a Maintenance Plan with us:

Basically the same products and process applied to this one as the Aston

Afters:

And last but not least, another car to recently join us on a Maintenance Plan. This Cayman was in for a 1 day Protection and was protected with 3 layers of Werkstat Acrylic:

Thanks for looking - next one will be more in depth as usual. Any questions then fire away!

Thanks,

Clark

Mmmmm that Aston looks lovely. Just what i'd have if I ever get a lottery win. I'd have to bring it up to you to get it looking like that though.

We have an RB320 in later this week, will that do?

I'll also post my WR1 once it's out of hibernation and had its spring clean too

Surely you mean "when I've snow foamed, rinsed and waved the black barron at it as that's all it'll need"

In all honesty that's about all it needs but I give the underside a freshen up every spring and there's a new product range being applied to it so the existing protection will be getting stripped. It's also getting coilovers fitted next month so I'll have the wheels off and get them all coated too once it's done
