What is the best budget polisher?
I need help as I am looking for a budget DA polisher for around £40. I have done many searches and read good things regarding Macallister polishers but cant seem to find any mentioned for sale now. are there any new ones that people know of?
Which ones would people recommend? Thanks.

Thanks but at more than double theres no way of getting that past my wife, shes scoffing at £40 as it is. It wont be used very much, just to go over a few hazed bits.

Cheers guys for the input, looking more closely I dont think the Halfords one is a random orbiter

so the Macallister is probably the one to go for. Out of curiosity what is the advantage of going for the Kestrel?

I thought that Random orbiters/dual actions cut out the risk, so with regards to risk the cheaper Macallister and Kestrel would be similar. Is that not the case?

sorry didnt read the fact that the Macallister was a dual action I have been using one for sanding down my garage and wouldn’t be keen on the idea of using it on a car, prob just me playing save tho. Have a read of the thread below from detailing world
