Yes i have one. Great bit of kit it replaced my stolen PC7424. Must admit though i did prefer my PC7424. But i tyhink that's because it was the machine i learnt with and was more sentimental lol. However there's little real difference and with the DAS-6 you don't need to lug a transformer. Order it with the spot pads so you can get into more places.

Only negative to the machine is how short the lead is. Get some strimmer / outdoor connectors, cut the plug off and use a strimmer extension. problem solved

thanks for the feedback dude

the newer model comes with a 3 metre flex to address the concern of the short cable, gonna use the wife's peugeot as my "guinea-pig" this weekend, that way the learning curve wont be of any distress to the scoob

The Kestrel DAS-6 has an almost identical design to the G220, and the same features, including a fully variable speed controller. The key difference between the two units is the quality of the materials used - the G220 features soft touch casing materials, while the Kestrel used cheaper rigid plastic casing materials. Other than that, there is very little to choose between them, and they both come with a 1 year warranty. Me personally, for home use only I would choose the Kestrel and save some money.
