Karcher Pressure washer problems
Hi, ive just purchased a Karcher K 2.97MB washer (upright with wheels)
when i connect everything up and turn on the garden hose and turn on the washer, it kicks out pressure for a good while however if i let go of the trigger on the gun and press it again to wash, the pressure is lost for some reason, then i have to wait a good 45 seconds or so until it starts kicking out pressure again. and this applies every time i let go of the trigger
When the pressure has gone it still chucks out water as if your taking a pi$$ but no pressue

anyone had this problem?
ps: i used to own the smaller karcher and that used to work fine.
i was told by a friend that they need a good water supply, but its getting water from the garden hose which supplies water at a good rate.
help please
thanks

Hello mate,
Have you checked for kinks in the hose?
If you haven't got any I add a normal shower type attachment and see what that does.
Does the PW pressurise too often? The noise you get when you first switch the PW on?

Is the pump activating?
If no: pressure switch fault
If yes: Air lock, lack of supply flow, or sticky relief valve.
If it air locks; Turn it off, remove the attachment from the lance, pull the trigger and run water through it again until it flows smoothly, then switch it back on and try again.
Lack of flow: check your hose pipe
Sticky relief valve: Send it back as its faulty
