Default After cleaning my engine bay my side lights stay lit?

Doooh!

Cleaned the Huntsmobile yesterday and thought I'll just give the engine bay a little spruce up, so I opened the bonnet and soapy brushed the engine and bits and lightly rinsed off with a hose.

Now my side lights are lit all the time (even when the ignition is off?!?) it's an 08 thingy so all the lights should turn off when the ignitions off. Have I somehow turned the electrics/fuse box into a swimming pool, or is there something more sinister at work here?

All replies welcomed, even abusive ones

Tin of WD40 is your best friend - give the fuse box and all the lighting connectors a good spray to remove any moisture left from the "clean up".

Take it to the dealers and mention nothing about cleaning the Engine bay, that's what's Warranty's there for, Have you checked the parking lights aren't on?

Hey..... I'm not ashamed to say it:

"I only went and turned the feckin parking lights on!"

Thanks all...... it's been 2 days of effing and jeffing and all along I accidently turned on the parking light switch while dusting the dash!

Live and learn.... Cheers, DCI
