Quick question please
my classic is a cool grey (same as the rb5 colour).
I am looking to buy some poorboys nattys blue wax.
I was thinking of buying the poorboys polish with carnauba blue as well, but i have been reading up on the poorboys black hole glaze.
so my question is on my paint colour using the nattys blue wax, what would be the best polish? the blue or black hole?
thanks
ian
p.s all of this will be done by hand

black hole isn't a polish. instead of buying the poorboys polishes go for the menzerna intensive polish. one of the few polishes that will work well by hand on subaru paint. then follow up with the black hole or white diamond as your car colour isn't that dark and then top with the nattys blue.
this is a great combo and will give great results for the price of the products.

would it be ok with the menzerna polish and hte nattys blue?
anything else you would recomend? ££ is a issue, and would like the best for the least amount of ££
I just tryed auto glym deep shine polish, and didnt think it was as good as the megs ntx wax

the black hole is a glaze. it fills a few of the lighter defects if you've not managed to polish them out and reduce the look of them. i use it as a gloss enhancer.
it's fine to use with menzerna and the nattys. use it after the menz and before the nattys.
for the price of the poorboys stuff it's hard to beat. you'd have to go up to the werkstatt suff or dodo waxes. these range between 30 quid and 100 quid.
anything that says polish is usually just that a polish and needs to be followed up by a wax or sealant to give protection and the shine that you're looking for.

you'll only need to use the menz polish and black hole / white diamond once a year if you look after your car properly. but yes the nattys can be used weekly.

thanks for the info all, but if i went for the poorboys blue polish would it be safe to polish it every month, or is there a risk of taking to much paint off? is this stuff like Tcut where it removes some of the top layers??
also would turtlewax tip wax ok to use with this stuff? as i have been reading about some washed taking the wax off that you put on? if this one does, what would you recomend?
many thanks again
one other thing, how does this poorboys blue polish compair to the autoglym ultra deep shine polish, as i have this all ready

T Cut is very harsh on paintwork. If you wash / dry properly you will only need to polish every 4 months or so. Wax monthly to keep it topped up. Polish gets rid of defects, wax seals and protects. Bob

thanks bob, that clears it up abit
so im going to get the nattys blue wax
do i keep my autoglym ultra deep polish, or go for the poorboys blue polish?
and what do you think about my wash?
I do try my best to keep my car in a clean good condition, i have all ways brought my stuff from halfords before, and thought i knew alot about washing a car etc.
but over the last few weeks, i have been reading on here, and it has opened up a hole new world, with so many new and different products, and it shows that i only know such a small amount on how to get the best finish on your car. but i am trying to learn as much as poss, and get the best for my money, that is easy to use by hand, and by someone with limited skill

Given you car, your situation and what you want to achieve, I would suggest Poorboys Black Hole topped with Poorboys Nattys Blue would be a very good place to start. As mentioned above, the Werkstat Acrylic Kit would be the best option for your colour, but it is twice as expensive as the Poorboys set up, so maybe only an option for the future? In terms of washing, simply follow the advice in this guide...
