Default WINDOW SURROUND DRESSING

What is the best product to dress/protect the black window surrounds? Is there a Meguiars Gel?

Try gel but even after buffing off it still tends to run down the paint after rain etc. I personally use Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze, brings them up like new.

I use Auto Glym plastic bumper restorer (green gel) it does the job just fine. Never noticed it run either.

Zymol Carbon exels at this task, but buying it just for plastic/rubber dressing is clearly not going to happen! Other options that work well; leave bare after degreasing, or 303 Aerospace Protectant. Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel also works a treat on window rubbers.

i was going to say either the ag bumper restorer or the 303 aerospace are great. if you use the 303 though spray onto a cloth first otherwise you'll end up having to clean it off the glass and paint. it's not as oily as the ag stuff too, which i personally prefer.

I still find 303 to leave white marks after it rains

Try Poorboys Trim restorer.

Apply prior to your wax stage. Let it soak in and then buff off with an MF.
