Baby wipes and dead flies
Hi,
Is there any disadvantage to using baby wipes to remove dead flies before they dry on? Will it strip the polish?
Thanks,
Ian

If they do dry on, get an old towel, soak it in warm water, put it on the assorted squashed insects, go have a cup of tea, remove towel and wash as normal. The squished bugs will then just wash off no problem.

I'm sure baby wipes takes the polish off. I've used a similar thing to remove bird ****e. Get a wad of loo roll, soak it in warm water leave on the car to loosen the ****e and then it just lifts off in the loo roll. Don't rub it as it will give marks.

If you have decent protection on the car and wash with warm water in the suds bucket then flies and bug guts come off no problem, even after being on for a while - it's the level of protection that makes the difference in my experience.
