Default bug removing/bonnet paint

I was trying so hard to remove bugs from my bonnet the other day that when it shines in sunlight you can slightly see where I was rubbing so hard. I know subaru paints poor but jesus. Its wr blue by the way. Any ideas what will cover this up and restore it back to normal? Some sort of blue polish maybe? Also bug removing techniques would be helpful if you have any. Cheers

To remove the bugs you are probably better using a clay bar with lubricant. Anyone help with the other matter?

well i give it another wash the other day but went to the jet wash first to have a go at the million bugs on the front. £2 = 6 mins. started with high pressure rinse, then hot shampoo pressure rinse, then a high pressure rinse again. softend them all up and got rid of the majority. this made hand washing sooooooo much easier when i got home. i also bought a mid blue coloured polish and did the whole of the car. 2 coats on the bonnet. car looks amazing now. just like new and very smooth. i recomend a presure rinse for your front end if your planning on a lengthy detailing session, i works well.
