Default Subaru Body Service

Is this worth while to get done or a waste of money?

Its basically a rust prevention and under seal top up. If you own the car from new you are recommended to get this treatment done on the 1st 3rd and 5th year. My point is, if you only keep the car for 5 years say, and you don`t get the treatment done, is it going to rust? And if you did get it done the next owner is surely the one to benefit.

Blank entries in the service book are never good come resale time!

People will think "if he was too tight to spend the equivalent of 2 or 3 tanks of petrol once every couple of years on a dealer recommended service, then what other maintainance has he scrimped on"

However the actual effect on the longevity of the car if not going to be that significant, especially if you wash it, garage it and don't do huge milage.

Got the Body Service done to my previous Imprezas and was just looking for opinions. Like yourself I prefer a FSH wether it be engine or body. Thanks.
