asked this on other thread but it seems to have got no attention!!

If i want to be cleaning my car every weekend, do i need to glaze and wax each time? or just wax?

Also the shampoo i have seems to take off all the glaze/wax, is there a gentle shampoo that wont strip all the hard work off?

The best Shampoo i've used is Sonus Gloss, however it's rare in the country, it's perfectly balanced not to strip wax. Optimum Shampoo is pretty gentle also, not sure if Rich does that.

As for glaze, i'd just do it a couple of times a year after polishing. Glazes, really add depth to the finish. As for Waxing that can be done as often as required. For a really nice finish and protection i'd do it once a month, once every 4 if you arn't too bothered.

 

Yes I would agree with the above - other shampoos to try would be poorboys slick suds or whatever its called or meguairs gold class - both will not strip wax.

 

I like Zymol shampoo, smells nice too.

or alternativly I use Autoglyms Car Shampoo

 

All of the shampoos I do are very gentle and won't strip wax or sealants - my favourite is Poorboy's Slick n Suds as it works well by hand and by foam gun and leaves a nice, glossy finish.
