Default Best way of cleaning the intercooler

Over the years my intercooler has got a bit grubby.
Anyone know the best way of cleaning the the intercooler fins so there back to bright silver without damaging them?

Hi I took mine off bit of tfr or degreasent then a good hot jet wash job done all crap out

Zany any pics mate? Wouldt want to jet wash for fear of bending all the fins

Might try a acid wheel cleaner and a soft brush.
