We still get emails when people we have on ignore post ??

That is a case of 'working as designed' i am afriad, it is how the software developers have written the feature, not a lot we can do about it without major code re-writes which would just not be viable each time a new version is released.

That isnt to say that the software wont be changed to work in a different way in the future.
