EVO tested an Evo260 recently around their track and it lapped under a second slower than the FQ330 (it was 7 seconds quicker than the MG ZT260) and that was with more compromised tyres. The FQ had Yoko track tyres.

Thus my guess is that even the base 260 would dust the WR1 on a track. Having owned a WRX with PPP and now an Evo 8, I would think that on a bumpy road I would rather be in the WRX though.....and how much more often are we on bumpy roads than tracks!
