I've just realised - it's the date format the wrong way round - 8th March instead of the 3rd of August.

My machine is correctly configured for UK formats (fyi).

P.S. - I've re-edited this to test if it's the re-editing that causes the problem.

I've just replied to someones question - which was asked yesterday. The date of my response is 5-odd months ago !

It is the editing which causes the problem, the fault is one that we know about and we are working to resolve.
