This morning ( my own fault really for not up dating Norton ) I recieved an email with the BUGBEAR worm on board and also HOOKER trojan.

This email came from Michael Sandstra ( never heard of him )on reading it it went:

" to all customers of ed & leslie.......... "
Attached was a 50.6k attachment titled MORTGAGE!!!!! on opening it nothing appeared. Alarms bells went off so immediately logged off and got 2003 Norton. Found BUGBEAR twice and this HOOKER trojan.

So I thought just let everyone know and apologise if I've accidently infected anyone I know.

Got your text, cheers for the heads up.

Have run a scan on my machine and I am clear, your emails so far have been clear too.
As a rule I don't open any attachments till I know who they are from and why they have sent it to me, all others go to trash

You can download a tool to remove the virus from here:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com...ugbear@mm.html

(Run it in safe mode)

Ta,

I'd already nuked it when I installed the Norton 2003, so I'm clean now.
