Default 94 RA box into a 98 uk

hi there just a bit of last minute checking, im about to change my uk spec gearbox for an early Ra box, and wandered if any one else had done this before and if they came across any complications, apart from the diffs which are matched, im guessing the speedo drives will just swap over as one is cable and the other electrical, but apart from that easy swap??

matching rear diff, speedo drive converted to electric and also ensure you have the correct rear shafts to match the r/diff

??? UK gearbox does not have a 4.11 rear diff........

UK cars run a 3.54 rear ratio

Agreed, UK box will definitely not be the same ratio.

http://www.gearhack.com/myink/ViewPa...ission%20Chart

ty752vb3da (RA box) final drive 4.11

ty752vn6aa (UK box) final drive 4.11

the above link also confirms the subaru workshop manual i have for gearbox codes. but then i could just count the teeth on the rear diff.

all UK spec ty752 and majority of ty754 gear box codes require a 3.54 rear diff regardless of what the 'net suggests
