Default Hawk Rear Suspension

Yep, you've guessed it, the NSR one is knocking - not too bad, but it's there. The other one is fine.....for now.

07 Spec D with 40k miles by the way.

I can't really be doing with the grease nipple mod, may as well get them both replaced, but I don't want the standard Subaru ones as I would still have the age old chocolate grease problem.

My 54 plate Blob STi had this, you'd have thought by the time they made an 07 Hawk they'd have sorted this out!!

Anyways, I'm not looking to lower the car, just standard ride height is fine for me, but what manufacturer would be a good substitute for standard rears?

Not looking for anything fancy like coilovers, but I want something that has a good name and will last. I also don't want an even stiffer ride.

Ha ha not quite yet, but the clock is ticking I think.

Is there not a set up where I could use my existing springs?

If you are going down KYB Ultra route,I would replace the fronts at same time,I changed just the rears on my 05 STI and it drove like a dog,I bought BC,s a month later, apparently the damping rates on the SR,s don't match the rates on the OEM ones,it really spoilt the car,s handling
