Default V3 type r 6 speed conversion

Hello,

Need some advice guys on exactly what bits are needed to fit a 6 speed gearbox to my v3 type r. Anyone done this before or know what is needed?! Cheers

if you have a type-R it already has the large rear diff so you simply need the complete box and matching ratio rear diff (your std rear shafts will match)
dependant on the exact age of 6spd you may have to use stubs, etc. and a suitable prop

make sure you get the 6spd linkage complete also

Is it the same, regardless of JDM or uk gearbox?

yes because you match the 6spd box with its own diff

thankyou very much, I know that if the 6 speed box is a JDM unit it requires a 3.9 rear diff, but if it's a uk 6 speed it requires a 3.54 rear diff....my gearbox code is TY752VB5CA but I cannot for the life of me figure out what my rear diff ratio is. Or am I just better off buying a full 6 speed and rear diff...
