The cars a 97 version 3 STI Type R 555
After resetting the ECU, its since thown out a 22 and 23 fault code, which I believe is MAF and knock sensor related. The car itself runs fine, the occasional irratic idle when cold, but other than that its fine.
The CEL only comes on when warm, never at start up, and seems to go off once driving steadily.
Before swapping the MAF and knock sensor, anyone got any ideas of whatelse it may be?
Cheers, Mark

The cars standard apart from an exhaust, running V Power.
Cleaned the MAF as much as is possible, plugs were changed 2 weeks ago for a set of NGK7's.
I've not checked for air leaks... could you give alittle further info on this??

Hi folks i have recently bought a 2000 turbo 4 door saloon i believe its the GC8 being totally new to Subaru i got this as a non runner found out how to check codes ect, I'm replacing the knock sensor today as it has a crack in it and is throwing the CEL. Will the CEL go out by itself or do i follow the reset procedure with the green and black plugs under the dash as i read somewhere that it doesn't work on cars post 98.
Sorry to but in lol
