Default Do i still need my restrictor pill ?

95 wrx, lots of mods, been remapped and running a pierburg 3 port boost solenoid amongst lots of other bits, do i still need the restrictor pill in the line that goes into my airbox intake ?

mapped to 1.3 bar but mainly hits 1.2, would removing this increase a bit of boost or what, not really sure what they do either LOL

Nah, the pill stops sudden boost spikes and smooths the overall delivery of boost. Doesn't affect the final boost pressure. Without the pill you would experience a huge spike of boost pressure which would possibly cause a fuel cut. Too small a pill will see a very slow build up of boost pressure. Leave it as is.

If you feel the pressure is a bit lower than what it should be, try a different boost gauge of good quality to double check.
