Hi,

Im new to this site and subaru's, i am about to purchase a 1999 legacy 2.0 manual. It has a a stiff gear throw, is this normal? It seems to go into gears ok with no crunching but is the stiffest gearbox ive driven.
Any ideas will be good because im probably gonna go get it tomorrow.

Could be gear box oil low, should be dip stick to left back of engine

gearchange should not be stiff so i would be looking for mis-aligned/seized linkage or bushes...........
