Default Clutch help

Hi I have recently started to develop slipping in 4th & 5th gear and need to replace my current clutch on my 2000 subaru impreza sti import it is currently runnin 342bhp and all I know is that it is currently running exedy sports clutch 5mt and exedy chromium moly flywheel 5mt does anyone know what clutch I need to replace it with as not sure if the excedy stage 1 clutch is the same or different. I am also looking to remap the car again soon as it is capable with the mods it is now running to push more power ie 400bhp. Thanks in advance, Matt

You could run an Exeddy pink box but these can judder a bit. A better choice is an AP racing clutch. Both of these will handle the power as long as you don't launch it. If you plan on launching you need an Exeddy twin plate but they are expensive & heavy to use.

As above or check out Helix or Act clutches which are very capable at handling high torque levels while still being drivable day to day.SJ.
