Default 96 sti cutting out when coming onto boost

hey recently got a 96 sti and it cuts out when it comes on boost bot 4000rpms u can ease the throttle on and it doesn't cut out til bot 10psi. I've checked the ecu and apart from the acv (24) code which has been sorted there are no other codes in there. any ideas?? i'm thinking maybe fuel pump but had no time to check pressure. any suggestions greatly appriciated

Is car standard? Specifically any modifications to exhaust? i.e de-cat downpipe, bleed valves?

Sounds very like fuel cut from overboosting. Is your boost gauge reading properly? Also, as said before, have you got a boost controller/bleed valve fitted?

Check connections on boost solenoid. Mine did this when the pipe came off the actuator.
