Default metal in the oil

serviced my bugeye wrx today, just bought it the other day

i replaced the gearbox and diff oil, when i drained the gearbox oil i found these pieces of metal stuck to the magnetic plug



gearbox seems fine, no whines and selects gears fine

big problem?

Mine had a few as well, works perfectly so I'm not gonna worry about it. Who knows how long the oil had been in there, on mine anyway.

No noises or crunches so no worries in my mind

It's probably never been changed as its usually misse when people service thier cars

It works fine so I shouldn't worry

For some reason my first read at this post lead me to believe you found a 20p when you drained it hahahahaah...

i wouldn't worry about it if it works fine
