Just bought a fully electric car for commuting, I work nights the mrs works days we can do both commutes on one charge. Hardly no fuel costs no road tax just made sense! Still have the 330s

 

That's interesting, as I am trialing a EV van for my company. It's a Renault Kangoo. Have a charger installed at home. I've been using it for 8 months. In that time, I've driven a 2nd gen Smart EV. Peugeot ion EV and the best out of the lot, a Nissan Leaf. 1 full charge, range between 80 to 100 miles. Cost £ 2.70. What car have you bought?

Yeah the nissan leaf is the one I have. Had it for a week trail last week and it works fine for us. Waiting for the home charger to be installed now. But the mrs works for nissan and she does the charging there.

 

They're great until the batteries start to degrade...

 

or you forget to plug it in lol.

i do a 20 mile round trip commute to work and back...

sometimes i ride my bike, but i dont think id ever buy an EV!

i dunno, cars are for a bit of fun imo as well as the jaunt to work etc.... i dont think id get a whole lot of fun out of one of those!

even the impreza is a bit... well, boring...!

 

Well thats why you dont keep it for more than 3 years battery is covered by the warranty. ;-)
