I was driving along a sretch of road in the lakes approx 3miles of pure adrenalin.
Anyway through a couple of sharp bends then onto a little straight with a lip in the middle about fifty yards from a sharp left.
Out of the bends hit the lip about ** well almost three figures and took all 4 wheels about 2 foot off the road, landed flush on all 4 wheels, braked hard then turned in.
Out of the corner and in to a series of tight turns then up the pass about halfway and i lost a lot of boost for approx 10mins of driving sensible.
Is this normal?
Am i driving to hard?

 

Jay, how do you mean "you lost boost for 10 minutes"? Did it totally stop boosting or was it just like it was holding back on full throttle? And where is this piece of road, I think me and DaveW should go and visit it!!

The road is the penrith to Kirkstone pass along Ullswater.
The boost seemed to be about a 1/4 of what it should on foot full down, i drove slow for about 10 mins and it was ok.
I have been told the ECU retards the boost sometimes, propably caused buy the landing from the jump.
Has anybody come across this????????

 

How much fuel did you have in the tank? Might be a fuel surge related issue, only really a problem if you have less than a third left in the tank.
