Default 07 hawkeye sti rear suspension knock

Hi all
Ive got the dreaded rear strut knock for the third time in 5 cars
Im in need of the fix or second hand parts if anyone knows of someone doing this/them

Split them, clean out old waxy grease and repack with marine grade thick grease. Job done. You can go further and add grease nipples etc

Thats one option im after but me doing it myself :S i dont think i could
I have limited knowledge with mechanics and no spring compressors

The main issue is getting the strut split in two, the bottom nut usually needs cut off as its too badly corroded to remove without the insert spinning. Better off finding someone local capable to do it for you.

I'm doing this soon myself... Gambit pre warned about what an **** the bottom nut is so any pointers would be welcome!

Sucked it up and went to scoobyclinic today, they where going to regrease for me but said they where to far gone so had both rears replaced.
Tons better now, had car laser aligned to but rear camber is -3 so gotta go back and have camber bolts fitted to sort rear wheels out
