Default Blanking off dump valve?

Running a 1994 WRX, standard air box with Do Luck filter, resonator box removed before turbo pipe and snorkel deleted in inner wing.

Getting a nice sound without having the dump valve but read blanking it off completely gives a nice flutter type sound, though also read it damages the turbo as it's causing it to stall, advice please?

It'll be a toss up between which goes pop first, turbo or maf. If the latter then hope you catch it in time as it won't necessarily throw the CEL on.

from what ive read up on, TD05 (standard saloon turbo) should be fine, but i did this mod, didnt have the airbox resonator removed but i got no flutter noise at all, was told to get a good sound you need front mount and cone filter, but try it and see how it sounds
