I changed my steering wheel over and have triggerd the airbag light, its getting on my nerves now and want it off, i know i could go to garage and pay for the reset..

question is if i take the airbag ecu out will this knock the light off also, as im planning to take out as theres not alot of room behind dash part for stereo loom and my gauges im fitting??

Anyone help please

 

I think all u need is a resistor m8 to trick the car the airbag is still in m8 from maplins or electronic shop

 

Arn't airbags and their lights being checked on MOT's now?

 

Apparently but so are cats and they pass those don't they ?? Well some do will be he same with airbag

 

can just remove the bulb....

hkb boss kit comes with the ohm resistor to put that light out. or yeh take bilb out dash that would certainly sort the problem.
