Default My STI on trackday Woodbridge 16/2/13

Hi maybe of interest to some of you how my car fared on the trackday, really could do with better brakes and coilovers need setting up as car did not handle too great but still did ok all the same (even though nearly came off track!!)

They do tend to understeer with the standard suspension/setup.
Looks like you were enjoying yourself for sure

Few things you did wrong but just two for now, 1st keep your right foot in when it starts sliding, don't lift off and 2nd cool down lap or 2 before coming in to the pits.

Good high temp brake fluid and track biased pads are a must.

Looks like you had some fun, pleased to see the GTR got his act together after you passed him.

Woodbridge is a good place to test the car but the surface I found can be quite abrasive to the tyres lol

Thanks for the info, yep brakes need sorting, after chatting to owner the GTR was 750 bhp so my 300ish brake car had no chance!

Suffolk east of Ipswich, I have family nearby so take the scooby on trailer to it. Booked through Javelin trackdays.
