Default 2.5 heads on 2ltr

Hi, quick question, 2.5 heads on a 2ltr, will this work? I know my v5 heads were machined to work on the 2.5 bottom end so assuming there are some differences to them?

If I'm correct the combustion chambers are larger on the 2.5 and I think the bores are bigger so to make 2.0 heads work properly on a 2.5 you'd need to add material which is much harder than taking it away!

Combustion chamber is to large on 2.5 heads, for a 2.0, you would not get a workable compression ratio.

Thanks, thought that this would pretty much be the case
